DeFi aggregator Frontier is integrating with Avalanche to introduce native support for AVAX staking, NFTs, and TrueUSD (TUSD) in the Frontier Application.
The integration is set to expand the wallet options and functionalities offered to users in the Avalanche ecosystem, as well as empower more users to access DeFi applications.
“User experience remains a big issue for DeFi users,” said John Wu, the president of AvaLabs. “By Simplifying and streamlining how users engage with DeFi apps on Avalanche, Frontier will be a great addition to the ecosystem and help enable the first wave of growth on the platform.”
Frontier will receive funding support to complete the integration through the Avalanche-X grant program, a moonshot accelerator aimed at developers.
According to the company’s announcement, the grant will be used to integrate Avalanche in Frontier’s iOS and Android applications, introduce native staking of AVAX in the apps, as well as enable users to track, send, and receive NFTs on the Avalanche network.
Frontier will also introduce support for TrueUSD (TUSD), a stablecoin launching natively on Avalanche.
