Launched during the previous week by IDEO CoLab Ventures, Startup Studio is backed by Fidelity, Amazon, Deloitte and other 20 companies. The full list of the mentors is available online and it features popular figures such as the head of Binance X at Binance, Teck Chia, the CSO of digital assets manager CoinShares Meltem Demirors and well as popular investor Katherine Wu.

The role of the mentors will be to coach, direct and encourage all participating startups. Meltem Demirors elaborated on their motivations:

“Bringing together a wide range of domain experts and service providers under one umbrella to help companies grow, expand, and collaborate is a fantastic resource, and will benefit both young upstarts and more established companies looking to take bitcoin mainstream”

Katherine Wu is confident that the initiative is: “invaluable to entrepreneurs and startups who are looking to build for the future of crypto.”

Startup Studio will include one-day workshops on diverse topics including user testing, finance, product design, hiring methodologies, law and engineering.
