According to ZKSwap’s announcement, the app will enable users to manage their Layer 1 and Layer 2 assets and will require no gas fees.
To support the launch of the new app, ZKSwap also initiated two rewards campaigns to incentivize users to start using the beta version.
The first campaign will last between 27 April and 5 May and will allow those participating to split 20,000 ZKS tokens as rewards. Users who successfully complete a swap and a transaction sending from Layer 2 will be eligible for the rewards.
The second campaign will begin on 27 April and last until 26 May, focusing on feedback and user engagement. Users that share their experience with the ZKSwap mobile app, or give bug suggestions, will be eligible to receive rewards in the form of ZKS tokens. The ZKSwap team will choose the three best posts that will receive a reward of 100 ZKS each. An unlimited number of awards of 10 ZKS will be awarded to popular posts throughout the campaign, the company said.
The AMM-based Layer 2 decentralized exchange (DEX) launched on the Ethereum network in February. Since then, the platform accumulated over $1.5 billion in total value locked (TVL) and recorded $9.5 billion in total trading volume. Last month, ZKSwap announced that it will be deploying on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to leverage the blockchain’s low fees and high throughput.
