Global Blockchain Value & Research Center Launches In Shanghai

  • The center commenced its work after an initiative on May 22.

One of the first Chinese companies to carry out blockchain research and work, Unifive Technology Group, yesterday announced that the Global Blockchain Value and Application Research Center was just launched in the Shanghai Bay-based Science and Technology Innovation Center. After an initiative coming from the Global Blockchain Value and Application Seminar, held on May 22, which brought experts in the field together, the center commenced its work.

Unifive Technology Group is a leading comprehensive group firm, which integrates cutting-edge technology, development, research, application landing, and technology in China.

The Global Blockchain Value and Application Seminar’s co-sponsors were the Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Shanghai Bay Area Tech Innovation Management Committee, China Internet Industry Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Internet Branch, Shanghai Development Research Foundation, and the Unifive Technology Group.

The seminar was attended by notable guests such as Cao Xianfeng, executive deputy director of the Shanghai Bay District Management Committee and mayor of Shanyang Town in Shanghai Jinshan District, and Sun Yinliang, director of the Shanghai Bay District Management Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanyang Town in Shanghai Jinshan District.

In addition, blockchain economists, experts, representative public chain founders and entrepreneurs, and brand experts from eminent university blockchain laboratories visited the seminar. As part of it, they debated on the impact of blockchain technology in value and application, future market opportunities, developing trends, and everything industry-related to technology, ecology, innovation, and influence.

The premier 16 experts, employed by the Global Blockchain Value and Application Research Center, are namely:

  • Zheng Yannong from the Development Research Center of the State Council and former secretary-general of the World Development Institute.
  • Wang Yingjie, chairman of the Agricultural Internet Branch of China Information Industry Chamber of Commerce.
  • Wu Yunda, party committee member and deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University.
  • Qiao Yide, vice chairman and secretary-general of Shanghai Development Research Foundation.
  • Ning Zhong, professor of the School of Management at Fudan University.
  • Li Jiang, science and technology expert and former CTO of Microsoft China.
  • Chu Jiahai, UCOT co-founder and executive director of China-Australia Blockchain Association.
  • Keith Chan, community director of Greater China.
  • Xian Junxing, head of the Deloitte Asia-Pacific Blockchain Lab and a partner in financial technology.
  • Shi Xingguo, founder of the superblock chain and inventor of the global parallel chain technology.
  • Gao Chengshi who holds a Ph.D. in cryptography.
  • Wang Yingshuai, head of China’s blockchain future talent development program under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China Tian Li, the former chairman of Shanghai Watch.
  • Dr. Hou Longfeng who holds a Ph.D. in energy data mining from French National Lyon School of Applied Science.
  • Lu Rong, former senior vice president of Asia Pacific for Honeywell.
  • Wang Xiaomeng, founder of the Yoo Ecology Group.

The Global Blockchain Value and Application Research Center plans to publish the “Global Blockchain Value and Application Ranking” twice a month. The premier list will be chosen from 20 candidates, among public, private, and alliance chains. The list will be announced worldwide on June 22, 2020. Candidates will be ranked on a scale from A+ to D-, as part of 12 levels.
