Gemini Custody Announces Support For 5 More Cryptocurrencies

  • The new cryptocurrencies that are now supported by Gemini Custody are LINK, GNT, NMR, Orchid, and Storj.

The crypto custody arm of the Winklevoss twins-backed exchange has expanded its operations by allowing users to store another 5 cryptocurrencies on its custodian. The new supported digital assets are:

  • Chainlink (LINK)
  • Golem (GNT)
  • Numeraire (NMR)
  • Orchid (OXT)
  • Storj (STORJ)

Earlier this year, Gemini Custody announced the completion of a comprehensive security evaluation – SOC 2 Type 2 exam, making it one of the safest crypto custodian services out there.

In more recent news, Gemini became the first crypto exchange to integrate with TradingView, allowing users of the popular trading platform to trade cryptocurrency straight from it. The crypto exchange also announced Europe expansion plans, hiring former Circle compliance officer Blair Halliday to oversee Gemini Europe’s compliance program.

Winklevoss Makes “Final Offer” to DCG Over Genesis’ Debt

Coinbase Launches International Crypto Exchange
  • Called Coinbase International Exchange (CIE), the new platform will allow institutional users outside of the U.S. to bet on the price of crypto via perpetual futures.
  • The platform will not be available to retail customers “at this time”, and will initially provide trading of only BTC and ETH perpetual futures, settled in the USDC stablecoin.
