Dash, the company behind the eponymous cryptocurrency, announced it has integrated Liquid’s Quick Exchange into Dash’s Android mobile wallet app. According to a blog post published on 16 August, the integration will enable users to purchase DASH directly within the Dash Wallet using VISA credit cards.

“The inclusion of Liquid’s Quick Exchange is a crucial step forward in our mutual dedication to user experience and ease of acquisition,” said Omar Hamwi, the Business Development Manager at Dash Core Group. “With Liquid’s global coverage, users in every corner of the world will be able to participate in and benefit from this integration.”

When purchasing cryptocurrencies through the Quick Exchange, users will receive a price quote in their national currency or select any of the 50 supported fiat currencies to see their price quotes. The feature will be available to users in over 100 countries and all Quick Exchange purchases of Dash with VISA in the app will take only one to two minutes due to Liquid’s integration of InstantSend, one of Dash’s unique features.

Enabling fiat purchases with VISA cards is the first of three release phases the Quick Exchange integration will bring to Dash. The second phase of the integration will be the release of Swaps in Quick Exchange—the feature will enable users to swap any two cryptocurrencies available on the exchange, including cross-chain transactions. The third and final phase will bring the ability to transfer Dash between Liquid accounts and Dash Wallets. The feature is set to be released in Q4 2021, the company said in the post.

To promote the integration, Dash and Liquid have announced that every purchase of $50 or more DASH on Quick Exchange through the Android Dash Wallet will provide users with an entry for a draw to win up to $1,000.
