Educational platform ODEM has partnered up with crypto exchange Bitfinex in an attempt to expand cryptocurrency and blockchain education, the company announced in a press release on 21 November.

According to the announcement, the new partnership will see the two companies releasing educational courses that will aim to educate Bitfinex users on the technical features of digital tokens.

In addition, ODEM will also be expected to launch a full simulation of its education marketplace, with Bitfinex providing liquidity for the transactions through ODEM smart contracts.

Richard Maaghul, the CEO of ODEM, commented on the partnership:

“Mirroring blockchain transactions allows users to view their payment activity reflected through our smart contracts in real-time and viewable through Etherscan. Transactions conducted by ODEM’s Token simulation are fueled by liquidity provided by Bitfinex. With their support of the overall decentralized ecosystem and focus on community-driven social impact, Bitfinex was a clear driver for us.”

Launched in 2017, ODEM is a platform which offers on-demand education and employment marketplace, which makes learning and working more accessible for everyone by connecting students, educators and employers directly.

Thanks to the new partnership, Bitfinex users will be able to obtain access to all educational programs on the ODEM Marketplace, and purchase them with their Bitfinex log in details.

Bitfinex’s CTO, Paolo Ardoino, said:

“Our collaboration with ODEM is a natural extension of our role as the premier trading platform worldwide. By educating more individuals on the uses and value of cryptocurrency and the vital role it plays in powering the blockchain economy, we are encouraging greater understanding and adoption of digital currencies. We’re confident that through continued, dynamic and relevant education provided by expert educators on ODEM’s platform, Bitfinex users will receive an advanced service offering.”
