Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC Global has announced it has partnered with Alchemy Pay to integrate its hybrid crypto-fiat payment gateway. According to a press release published on 6 August, the partnership will enable MEXC to better serve its customers in the European market.

“Our partnership with MEXC Global is a significant milestone in mitigating the gap between cryptocurrency and fiat to drive overall crypto adoption in the European region.” Said John Tan, CEO of Alchemy Pay. “This is a win-win situation. Experienced investors have an easier way to invest funds in crypto, while MEXC Global can now target crypto-curious investors with no crypto holdings.”

The integration will provide fiat on-ramps for MEXC’s European users, enabling them to deposit fiat currencies onto their accounts via credit and debit cards. In addition to that, the partnership will also integrate MEXC’s native MXC token onto Alchemy Pay’s hybrid crypto-fiat payment gateway. This will create more use cases for the token as they will be accepted as a form of payment across Alchemy Pay’s merchant and partner network, the company said.

The MEXC Global exchange will also support trading for Alchemy Pay’s ACH token and is set to introduce margin trading in the following weeks.
